I didn't believe in it at first at a younger age. Maybe because I was naive at the time and still growing. I do believe in it as my years living have past and have learned from it. As the saying goes, "What goes around... eventually comes around." The Golden Rule or the ethical code, or morality that essentially states either of the following:
1.One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself (positive form) 2.One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated (negative/prohibitive form, also called the Silver Rule)
When we talk about gender in the upcoming weeks we are going to see how the Golden Rule does not always apply. How can we get the class oriented to ONE post each week? this week, this was supposed to be that post.
