These are cute Academy Award Nominated shorts that a married couple made combining animation with their children's conversations. What I think is interesting about these videos are the difference in what the two boys and the two girls imagine.
Sons
Moonbird (1959) John & Faith Hubley combined animation with the unscripted tape-recorded ramblings of their sons, John & Faith Hubley. In a backyard safari for the mythic moonbird.
Daughters
Windy Day (1968); John & Faith Hubley combined animation with the voices of their preschool daughters (Georgia & Emily) to make this Oscar nominated short film similar in concept to their earlier work "Moonbird."
