Script Finalists Plus a $10,000 Table Read Award

Amazon Studios is excited to announce the six finalists for its December 2010 Best Script Awards. The two best scripts, as judged by a panel that includes script consultant Linda Seger and screenwriter Mike Werb (Face/Off and The Mask), will each get $20,000. Winners will be announced Jan. 27. In addition, Amazon Studios has added a $10,000 award for the best table read uploaded on or before Jan. 31. Acclaimed film and theater director and longtime Oscar producer Gil Cates will serve as guest judge. Cates is also founder and former dean of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.

January 31, 2011:  January 2011 Contests submission deadline. A total of $150,000 in awards.
